Meal Plans
UNLIMITED ACCESS PLANS ARE COMING!
As of February 2010, UND Dining Services has announced new meal plans that will begin fall semester 2010. The 19, 14, and 10 meal-per-week plans with meal zone restrictions will no longer be offered after summer 2010.
Starting Fall 2010, students living on campus will have two Unlimited Access meal plans to choose from, which have no meal zone restrictions. These plans have been designed based on student input through dining surveys and comments. Unlimited Access means students can enter a dining center as many times as they like throughout the day. Come in for a meal, snack, or beverage any time the dining center is open - no more meals to count or lose.
Unlimited Access Plans:
1. Unlimited Access "Plus"
includes $150 Dining Dollars and 12 guest passes per semester; $1,890 per semester (2010-11 rate)
2. Unlimited Access
includes $50 Dining Dollars and 3 guest passes per semester; $1,800 per semester (2010-11 rate)

and Board Rates for residence hall students
Incoming first-year students will need to choose from the two plans above. Returning students may select an Unlimited plan or a block plan (see below).
BLOCK PLANS FOR RETURNING STUDENTS - STILL HERE!
With these plans, students may purchase a "block" of meals which is good the entire semester. Students can use as many meals a day as they want, (or no meals some days) because meals don't expire at the end of the week. Meals are good until the end of the semester. Block plans are not restricted by meal zones, so students can use their meals any time during the day.
Block Plan #1: 125 meals and $400 dining dollars per semester; $1,644 per semester (2010-11 rate)
Block Plan #2: 155 meals and $150 dining dollars per semester; $1,693 per semester (2010-11 rate)
DINING DOLLARS:
Each meal plan comes with Dining Dollars. Meal plan holders receive a certain amount of Dining Dollars to use at any retail dining venue as well as residential dining centers. Dining Dollars can be used at any locations such as Old Main Marketplace Food Court, Stomping Grounds Coffee Shops, convenience stores, snack bars, and dining centers throughout the day, with out time restrictions. Dollars expire if not used by the end of the semester.
Meal plan changes:
If you feel that the meal plan you have chosen doesn't fit your needs, you may make a change at any dining center during the dates listed in your contract and in the Residence Hall Handbook. Announcements regarding meal change dates will also be posted in the dining centers.
